IMT’s Weld/Fab facility is a welding code and procedure orientated shop.
- All the welding processes used in ASME/AWS/Mil Spec. 1595-A/ PED DIN ISO 15614-2004 are available.
- IMT currently holds 14 Qualified Welding Procedures in various alloys of carbon steel, chrome molly, all 300 series stainless steel, Several 400 series stainless steels, Chrome Nickel alloys including cobalt X-45, Aluminum, and several exotic Inconel and hastelloy p-43 group materials .
- IMT has the capabilities to develop and qualify customer welding procedures literally for any metal or alloy.
- IMT has the capability to fabricate any type of product from small parts and high quantities to large multi ton precision components to the highest quality and closest industry tolerances.
- IMT also offers a full range of non destructive testing including VT,MT,PT,RT, and UT processes performed with a staff of ASNT-TC-1A Qualified Examiners with in-house level II and Level III review including certified reports.
- IMT has a one stop operation that offers industry a full range of services to complete customer products to the highest international Quality control standards.
- IMT Also has a IN-house CWI/CWE ( certified welding inspector/certified welding educator)to maintain those standards in fabrication and welding.
